The Free Cities had this new armor in the Badlands, I saw it. It was using tech from one of our rift monsters. We wanted to cut off their supply. It won't be forever, but it'll keep them from being able to march up to the castle with explosive armor. For now.
Exactly. The YET is there, they won't say it, but we know how it is. They threw us in the crater. They'll use us.
I might as well take the money, to be honest. It's already out there. I don't think giving them better armor/clothes is that big of a deal. I won't make them any weapons.
Maybe we can take hostage the portal makers? Or we can pay them. We have plenty of money. I know that there was a portal maker in Thorne who got people to the Free Cities, so there must be one out of here elsewhere. The problem is where to GO. We're not going to Thorne. I think Nocwich and Nether would just send us back, they'd have to, so Solvunn might be the only option.
We need to get back to finding out more beyond the borders. Those are not options we want to work with. We'll hope that the corecloth holds them off for now and work on our plans.

I think the corecloth is the lesser of evils here, they have to know that I can make very dangerous things if I wanted to. Armor seems like the most harmless option.
It's only a matter of time. I suspect if enough have talked about that future time, if they know about it, they'll make a move before we get that powerful.
No one has talked as far as I know. Crane, maybe, that fucker is always so slippery, but I don't know for sure. Everyone else is trustworthy. Although a part of me did want to yell WHEN I'M A GOD YOU'LL BE SORRY at the people arresting me.
Trust me. I've wanted to say the same... even if I have evaded being arrested by whole time here. So thankful for you to be the one to take those hits for us.
